The Real Insight (Residential) reveals that in Pune, as many as 10,015 new units had been launched in the third quarter of 2021, between July and September. In the second quarter, the figure was 2,810. Likewise, in the third quarter of 2020, the sales figures were around 4,635. This clearly indicates that the real estate industry is gradually recovering from the shock of the pandemic. After the second wave of the disease, the overall volume of economic activity has picked up pace.
The President of CREDAI in Pune stated that considering the number of properties sold, the market in Pune has undergone almost 8% growth. In the last 18 odd months, there have been several crucial developments in the real estate sector. Besides, situations have comparatively improved amidst the pandemic and crisis. Low interest rates on home loans, timely vaccination, and benefits for women on stamp duty removal have worked in favour of the industry.
In the festive season, the developers are looking forward to capitalize on the positive sentiments of the buyers. The real estate builders have also reported of genuine enquiries that they have been receiving in recent months. With the deals and discounts available to customers, they are more likely to convert.
